Claudio Andreatta


Claudio Andreatta photo Claudio Andreatta was born in Trento (Italy) in 1974. He received his degree (summa cum laude) in Physics from the University of Trento in 2001 with the thesis Buchi neri in gravità di Einstein Maxwell con dilatone e assione: termodinamica e limiti estremali (Black Holes Thermodynamic and Extremal Limit in Enstein Maxwell Axion Dilaton Gravity). He joined ITC-irst Technologies of Vision team in 2001.
In the past he was involved in research on object recognition, image segmentation and image retrieval in internal research projects and EU funded projects.
He is currently a researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler.
His current professional interests include image retrieval, object recognition, image content understanding and analysis for environmental control and augmented reality, software design and development (C++, Java, Android, Perl and more).
He is a member of the International Association for Pattern Recognition IAPR - GIRPR.
