On-sensor Image Processing
We develop processing algorithms for an innovative ultra-low power high dynamic range color sensor in collaboration with FBK's immaging sensors R&D unit IRIS.
We collaborate with the Research Unit IRIS of Center for Materials & Microsystems (FBK) in order to develop new smart low power vision sensors, that embed image processing algorithms, such as the transformation of the standard RGB signal to a differen color space suitable for further applications, and color normalization with respect to the illuminant, to mention a few.
This hardware-software co-development is applied to provide a less noised signal and thus a more reliable signal processing with energy saving capabilities.
